This is an album I keep turning to when I have to do conceptual work. It just gets me perfectly into a "think outside the box" mode supersonicscientist

The Way Out, and The Books in general, always seemed to represent to me a testament to the 'Wackiness' (and beauty) of Humanity. Paul de Jong's sampling certainly gives one that impression. It does not fail to capture the beauty of humanity. One of the most unique Bands there ever was and arguably their best album. DeimosTheWizard

When I try to describe this album, I end up with a string of adjectives rather than a true description: atmospheric...melancholy tinged with hope...like a clearing storm. Although the songs are sometimes quite different from one another, I'm amazed at how cohesive the collection feels. I highly recommend this! Robert Kerwin
